Sheep reared conventionally are dipped in chemical solutions containing organophosphates, these have proven health risks. Tests by independent scientists commissioned by Greenpeace found highly toxic substances in a range of consumer products including children's pyjamas. Buying natural clothing reduces the exposure to the chemical irritants in conventional clothing.
