Contemplating creative writing?
This month sees the debut of our creative writing and contemplation retreat - and it's nearly sold out (at time of writing).
Participants are being offered a unique blend of writing, meditation and nature connection as a stimulus for writing and as "a mirror to habitual patterns of thinking".
Leaders are Caspar Walsh and Brigit-Anna McNeill and no previous experience of creative writing or meditation is necessary. Just bring an open and curious mind and be willing to experiment and participate.

Mindfulness courses in Torquay and Totnes
We continue to offer Sharpham-backed mindfulness courses in Totnes (now at the Forge Yoga Centre) and at the FlowPhysio studio in Torquay. Plus our programme of 1-day Introduction to Mindfulness sessions continues too.
Woodland retreatants on screen
Taking mindfulness into the Great Outdoors has proven to be a hit amongst retreatants who want to experience mindfulness with a close nature connection.

We've got a programme of woodland retreats from this month and throughout the summer - all in cosy, comfy, furnished bell-tents, pitched in our tranquil woodland.
Two types of woodland retreats are on offer: Coming to Our Senses - three and five-night mindfulness and nature connection retreats for men and women, and three-night nature connection Women-Only woodland retreats.
Participants on both types of retreat will get time away from the frantic pace of everyday life as they experience guided meditations, movement & sitting practice, medicine walks, foraging and feasting on wild food - all within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by rich birdlife including the rare Cirl Bunting, tiny Goldcrests and Firecrests.
