Help to keep Britain buzzing
Friday 15 March, 2013 was a terrible day for bees as the EU failed to ban three neonicotinoid pesticides. Decision-makers failed to recognise the weight of evidence against bee-damaging, neonicotinoid pesticides. However the process doesn’t end here and the European Commission may still be able to enforce a ban.
We will continue our Keep Britain Buzzing campaign and work hard to get decision-makers to catch up with the science. There are plenty of things you can do at home too to protect and strengthen bee populations, starting with registering for your free seeds below.
Keep Britain Buzzing
We want all neonicotinoid pesticides, widely used in agriculture and domestic gardens to be banned
We want to promote bee-friendly organic farming and show that everyone can make a difference by simply changing their shopping habits.
We want to help bee populations recover by ensuring there are plenty of domestic and agricultural bee-friendly habitats around the UK
Claim your free seeds and create your own bee-friendly habitat
We are offering you the chance to get a free packet of seeds to take action in your garden. Everyone can help our damaged bee populations by planting flowers and plants that attract pollinators.
