A Closer Look at NLP
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) originated at the University of Santa Cruz in the mid-seventies, where people who were exceptionally good at what they did were studied extensively to find out how other people could get similar results. NLP incorporates ideas and principles from many different techniques including hypnotherapy, gestalt therapy behavioural psychology, family therapy, linguistics, information theory and anthropology.
It is useful for issues such as phobias, anxiety, lack of confidence, improving performance and improving relationships, in some cases just one session can be highly effective - phobia treatments often take less than half an hour. NLP can empower you to achieve more in every area of your life. NLP uses many complex techniques, but three key principles underpin the methods used by NLP practitioners.
